NOTICE:
The City has announced that it will appoint new members to the Citizen Advisory Board which has been mostly dormant for the past few years. See the attached Information Page here. There will be one member and one alternate appointed from each of the 9 Des Moines Neighborhoods. (See Map attached to the Information Page. You are encouraged to apply for this position as both a Member and/or as an Alternate. The Application is posted on the City’s website under the Jobs Postings. We believe the Council will begin making these appointments shortly after the end of March, 2023.

City Council Meetings
Meetings are held at City Hall on Thursday and begin at 6pm. You can also view meetings live from the City website. In addition, if you are in the Des Moines city limits, you can view meetings live on Channel 21 or from a recorded replay on that channel. You can also review the agenda and packet of material to be covered in these meetings from the City website. The agenda and packet are generally available the weekend before the meeting.
